At 9:30 on Friday, eastern standard time, the state of Connecticut has alerted the public (via twitter) that there will be a moment of silence (if you didn't get that this post was going to include a "moment of silence" by the title) to honor the 27 dead in the horrible Newtown gunning. In affect, there will be stricter gun ownership laws that will be put in place that are not pleasing alot of, well, gun owners. You can call me "inconsiderate" or "a mean horrible person" (that was a quote from someone who is evidently not a fan of mine) but I thought of what I think is a reasonable connection: in StarWars, Anakin Skywalker ends up killing a whole bunch of little kids. Did anyone blame the lightsaber for it?
Coming from and Outdoors man I believe our country need to have a serious debate on guns. The part about the light saber is sort of right because we can't blame guns 100% we have to restrict the type of guns and the amount of bullets on can have in a clip at one time.
